SDIC President Feng Shidong, Vice President Feng Dechun and persons in charge of relevant functional departments visited COMPLANT to examine our work carried out under the guidance of SDIC Work Conference. COMPLANT Management team and persons in charge of relevant functional departments attended the examination and discussion meeting.
Chairman Liu Xueyi briefly introduced to the group the preparation work carried out by our company for the examination. President Gu Haitao gave a report on matters including the communication and implementation regarding the spirits of SDIC 2014 Annual Work Conference and Annual Major Tasks, issues faced by COMPLANT and issues to be resolved through coordination from SDIC.
Having heard the reports from COMPLANT, President Feng indicated that COMPLANT has successfully implemented its reform plan and the outstanding results are achieved with hard work. COMPLANT’s Management team has been making concerted efforts and collaborating with each other in harmony. Great changes have taken place in the work attitude and style of its employees. COMPLNAT has identified its priority as adjusting structure, changing work attitude, consolidating the bases of assets and forging ahead with the reform. This decision is in line with the current situation of COMPLANT because it is based on a clear understanding of the problems as well as their roots. He further emphasized that for the next phase, COMPLANT shall take a closer look at its advantages, disadvantages and core competitiveness based on the reality, discuss and determine its development mode, conduct in-depth study on how to develop in coordination with SDIC, assign its 2014 Annual Major Tasks to specific persons with a clear timetable, give a comprehensive report to SDIC about its sugar projects based on thorough management audit, and actively push forward the trial on Financial Shared Service Center according to relevant requirements from SDIC.
Vice President Chen Dechun raised three requirements: first, COMPLANT shall continue to adjust its business structure based on its reform plan and it is important that this task is carried out under a detailed timetable; secondly, during recent years of transformation and development, COMPLANT has been faced with serious talent bottleneck issue and is in urgent need of managerial talents. SDIC is able to provide COMPLANT with certain assistance. However, in order to fundamentally solve the problem, COMPLANT needs to implement its own talent-nurturing and recruitment program; thirdly, efforts shall be made to simplify managerial hierarchy, shorten management chain and improve efficiency.
Head of SDIC Strategic Development department, Operation and Management department, Finance and Accounting department as well as other relevant departments made suggestions as to issues to be resolved through coordination from SDIC and tasks to be carried out respectively, and indicated that they will provide necessary support and assistance to COMPLANT for its future development.
On behalf of COMPLANT, Chairman Liu Xueyi thanked SDIC leaders and functional departments for their consistent guidance, support and assistance, and assured them that COMPLANT will pass on the guidance from SDIC Management, carry out our work based on the requirements from SDIC, actively promote and deepen our reform, make efforts to achieve annual operational targets and complete major tasks, and make great contributions to the success of SDIC.
